About Me

I’m Rebekah. By day, I am part of the BBC One social media team. I used to be the Digital Marketing Officer at the Bush Theatre and before that, I was the Communications Assistant at the National Centre for Circus Arts. I didn’t know anything about the exceptional world of contemporary circus until starting there but I can tell you: it’s wonderful.

I’ve completed a Masters in Arts and Cultural Management from King’s College London, which I absolutely loved. I basically just wrote about theatre and fandom. I’m obsessed with the intersection of popular culture (from love island to twitter threads) and art (from bbc dramas to exhibitions). I did my BA in English Literature at Warwick University. I miss that place.

Jesus is my Lord. I love exploring the representation of religion, faith and spirituality in theatre and film. I am also committed to all things green (avocados, plants, environmental sustainability.)

On this blog you’ll find tonnes of things about theatre, art, culture and city life.

Every so often I also get together with the #LDNTheatreBloggers. I also write reviews for A Younger Theatre.

I’m based in London but, having grown up in the countryside, try to get out and support regional theatre when I can. My home home is in the West Country and I used to work for Salisbury International Arts Festival. Salisbury Playhouse, Bristol Old Vic, Bath Theatre Royal, Theatre Fest West and the Watermill Theatre are all deep rooted places in my theatre history.

Disclaimer: All views are entirely my own and I am not paid to write anything on this website. I do occasionally obtain press tickets. Feel free to use things from my blog, just please credit and link back to me 🙂
